Service Planner
Position Overview
As a Service Planner, you will be a vital part of ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our passenger train services. Your role will involve meticulously planning and coordinating service schedules, maintenance activities to meet passenger needs and maintain the highest service standards.
Roles and Responsibility
• Develop and manage comprehensive service schedules, including train timetables, maintenance routines, to optimize operational efficiency.
• Continuously evaluate and fine-tune service schedules to improve efficiency, minimize disruptions, and enhance passenger satisfaction.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to plan and schedule routine and preventive maintenance tasks, minimizing service downtime.
• Develop and implement contingency plans and response strategies to address service disruptions, delays, or emergencies promptly.
• Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain comprehensive records and documentation of service schedules.
Desirable qualifications, skills and experience
• Bachelor's degree in Transportation Management, Operations Research, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in service planning, scheduling, or a similar role, with a strong background in the railway industry or a related field.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in scheduling software and data analysis tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
